We have deliberately taken a lot of time for the true centrepiece of Phänomena: the content. It takes a lot of creativity to get people excited about the natural sciences and to convey contemporary topics in a way that makes them want to learn more. We focus on thinking outside the box while remaining scientifically sound. Scientific expertise is also the be-all and end-all of our exhibits.

Communicating complex content in a tangible way

Over the past few months, the content team has worked intensively on structuring the many approaches, ideas and concepts of our seven worlds of experience and moulding them into an overall content concept.

This has resulted in 20 experience groups with around 200 exhibits that tell a coherent story and incorporate the underlying scientific phenomena and mechanisms. In the next step, these experience groups will now be given a face through the scenography and a body through the thematic links between them.
