Phänomena On Tour brings the big themes of our time directly to people. Every year with a new focus: from artificial intelligence to energy and climate through to the fundamentals of physics and chemistry. Back in 1984, Phänomena was the place where people took a closer look, marvelled and suddenly saw the world with completely different eyes. It was the place where complex things became simple and tangible, where the future felt within reach. More than 40 years later we are at that point again: a world in transition, technologies that are developing rapidly and that we do not yet understand, questions that occupy our minds. Phänomena is suitable for all age groups – from primary and lower secondary level to vocational schools, families and adults. The world of experiences is designed so that both children and adults can discover, marvel and learn more at their respective level.
The best way is to arrive by public transport. Phänomena does not have its own parking spaces. Anyone arriving by car is asked to use the public parking around the event location (public car parks / marked parking spaces according to the signage on site).
Yes. Phänomena is designed to be wheelchair-accessible and largely low-barrier. Access to the exhibition is at ground level or designed with as few obstacles as possible. Our team on site will be happy to help if needed – just report to the entrance or speak to a member of staff in the exhibition.
Dogs are not banned, but some visitors may be afraid of dogs and we want to offer everyone a good exhibition experience. Also out of consideration for your dog’s quality of life, please leave it at home.
At the entrance, only electronic means of payment are accepted. You can pay for your ticket, for example, with a debit or credit card, Twint or mobile payment services. Cash is not accepted at the entrance.
Yes. There are catering options with food and drinks on site. In addition, there is a zone where visitors can enjoy the food and drinks they have purchased from us.
